Interdisciplinary Teaching Team
Grounded in Science · Expressed through Art · Rooted in Nature
EVO's faculty is not a traditional "single-teacher role" but an interdisciplinary team working across science inquiry, artistic expression, child development, and nature experience.
We believe powerful learning comes from authentic materials, real experiences, and respected expression—not knowledge transmission.
Our team includes educators from earth science, environmental science, art practice, and education.
Together, we guide children to understand nature, the world, and themselves through authentic materials, real contexts, and interdisciplinary approaches.
At EVO, teachers are not knowledge transmitters but guides and companions in the learning process.
Our team collaborates across science inquiry, artistic expression, emotional support, and nature experience to ensure learning has both academic depth and emotional safety.
Educators with backgrounds in environmental science, ecology, or earth systems focus on how Earth functions as an integrated system. Through observation, experimentation, and data recording, they guide students to understand natural systems, Earth's structure, scientific principles, and the relationships between living organisms and human activity, fostering respect and responsibility toward nature.
Educators integrating art therapy principles
This core module focuses on supporting children's perception, expression, and inner development through artistic practice. We view art creation as a way to understand the world and express oneself, not just skill training.
Using art as the primary medium with natural materials and diverse expression methods, we guide students to transform their perceptions of nature, science, and emotions into expressible, reflective creative processes. In safe, supportive environments, we cultivate focus, emotional awareness, and continuous exploration.
This support module focuses on child development patterns, learning experiences, and emotional safety. It provides developmental frameworks and support principles for curriculum design and teaching, ensuring safe, stable, and sustainable learning experiences.
With experience in child development, learning design, or emotional support, we ensure appropriate pacing, interaction styles, and psychological safety, supporting children's self-awareness, emotional regulation, and social connection aligned with developmental needs.
This structural core designs and integrates the overall curriculum system, connecting earth science, art creativity, and child development modules.
Focusing on learning paths, curriculum logic, and module synergy, we ensure consistency in educational philosophy and learning experiences across directions, providing structural support for continuous iteration and expansion.
Earth Science & Environment Education
Educator with research background
毕静潇 has a background in environmental science and ecology, with long-term focus on relationships between Earth systems, ecological processes, and human activity. With research and practical experience in forest monitoring, water resource management, and environmental data analysis, she translates real scientific research into age-appropriate learning content.
In EVO's teaching system, she leads the Earth Science & Environment module, guiding students through observation, experimentation, and data recording to understand how rocks, water, atmosphere, and ecosystems function, fostering respect, responsibility, and a sustainability perspective toward Earth's environment.
Her teaching centers on scientific inquiry, emphasizing observation and practice to guide students' understanding of natural systems.
Art & Creative Education
Educator integrating art therapy principles
Vicky graduated in painting arts with a solid foundation in artistic creation and aesthetics. She focuses on art education, child psychology, and color psychology. She views art creation as a vital way for children to express emotions, understand themselves, and connect with the world, guiding children to build inner order and emotional awareness through creation in safe, supportive environments.
In EVO's teaching system, Vicky leads curriculum development for Art & Creative Education, guiding children through deep perception and autonomous expression via painting, color, and natural materials, helping them develop focus, emotional understanding, and intrinsic motivation for continuous learning.
Her teaching is gentle and guiding, using art and nature experiences to help children focus, perceive, and express freely in relaxed, safe atmospheres.
Responsible for designing and coordinating overall educational philosophy, curriculum structure, and interdisciplinary methods, building clear and sustainable learning frameworks that support different educational directions in unified development. In EVO, Laura provides language support and international communication coordination, assisting with clear expression of learning content and external communication, offering professional support for smooth course implementation in international contexts. This role does not lead course content or educational system creation.
Racheal
Master's in Social Work from The University of Hong Kong, with academic background in social research methods, community practice, and cross-cultural social support. Familiar with understanding individual, family, and community issues through integrated research and practice approaches.
In EVO, primarily responsible for social research support, practice framework development, and project observation analysis, providing professional support for curriculum philosophy, project design, and parent communication from social work and research perspectives. This role does not participate in specific course content design or frontline teaching implementation.
EVO courses are not delivered by a single teacher but designed and guided by a multi-directional faculty team.
Science provides understanding frameworks, art supports expression, education ensures process safety, and nature experiences connect to the real world.
Our team adjusts guidance methods based on children's developmental stages:
Through sensory experiences, playful exploration, and safe natural environments, we help children build basic perceptions of the world, fostering curiosity and security.
We guide children to understand how natural systems work, express observations and thoughts through artistic creation, and develop collaborative learning and teamwork skills.
Deep scientific inquiry, supporting unique personal expression, and guiding reflection on values regarding nature, environment, and human relationships.
Not single-subject teachers, but an interdisciplinary collaborative team
We're not a collection of single-subject teachers but an interdisciplinary team working together toward shared educational goals.
Not outcome-oriented, but process-oriented
We focus on perception, expression, and thinking during learning, not standardized outputs.
Not short-term activity support, but a long-term education system
We're committed to building a sustainable education system that supports children's long-term growth and development.
EVO continuously collaborates with educators, researchers, and practitioners from diverse fields.
Our faculty team grows and evolves through curriculum development, practice feedback, and international exchange.
